I would say I'm more into the 20's that 30's. I really wish I could pull off a 1920's bob.
ReplyDeleteOh man me too but then again thats what wigs are for hehe
ReplyDeleteSign me up:) I've always had a fondness for the 20's but recently I've been discovering the 30's too. I like the sense of fun and excitement of the 20's and the glamour of the 30's.
ReplyDeleteI love the 20'and 30's for several reasons. The fashion, the music, the style, the art, the simplicity, etc. It is basically the best era in my mind, before the wars, and before ridiculous technology. I love old timey everything. Please pick me! I want to paint from images in this magazine! -Cassie Ragsdale butterykittens@yahoo.com http://www.dailydirtydiaper.blogspot.com http://www.cassieragsdaleart.blogspot.com

It's tricky to narrow down just one element of the 20s or 30s that I love best, but the first answer that springs to mind, is that my beloved maternal grandma was born in 1930, and thus I always think of the thirties as being the decade that gave her life (and in turn, later, my mom and then me).

ReplyDeleteI love the 20s and 30s because it was such a musical time, with Tin Pan Alley. I have my own 20s & 30s band called Bootless Betties and love just about anything from that time.
