Mother's Day Shoot 2012

On Saturday, May 12th I had an amazing shoot with Christina Marotto Photography. It was a special Mother's Day shoot with myself and my lil bunny girl. I scored her a vintage dress and hat while on my trip to Missouri this spring. Of course I had to match my outfit with hers hehee I also wore a very special Mother's Day brooch gifted by my friend Brittany. It was a special day spent with my favorite girl and one amazing photographer!

The theme was a tea party at the park. Our props were our vintage handbags, a lace styled umbrella, play food, a vintage children's themed handbag, a 1940's magazine, and a vintage book on bunnies (of course hehe).

My outfit consisted of a pair of handmade 1940's trousers made by Brittany Sherman, a thrifted blouse and cardigan, and a 1950's hat gifted by a family member. Jewelry was a 1940's NY Mother's Brooch, a Mother of Pearl sweater clip from Etsy, bracelets from Claire's Accessory, and earrings from Etsy. My handbag is a wicker box styled navy handbag purchased from Etsy.

My daughter wore a vintage dress and hat purchased at Brenda Sue's in MO. As well as black Mary Jane shoes, lace ankle socks, 1950's hair clips in her hair, and a navy cardigan given to her by her godsister who lives in the UK.

I loved the work Christina and I did together. It was such a fun and comfortable experience and she worked beautiful with myself and my daughter. I loved doing a photo shoot with my girl and I hope one day I can get the whole clan to participate in a 1940's family portrait. Until then I get to look back on this amazing photo shoot and the beautiful gift I received on Mother's Day!

Thank you Christina and look forward to working with you again soon!!!
